Tim Sturr serves as the Chief Strategy Officer for GuideStone with stewardship of Enterprise Strategy and Innovation, Human Resources, Analytics, and Marketing. He joined GuideStone in 2022.
Prior to GuideStone, Sturr served as Managing Director, Financial Planning and Head of Strategy at Wells Fargo Advisors for nearly 15 years. Prior to this, he spent 11 years at Capital One Financial in several divisional CFO roles as well as the VP of Global Planning.
Sturr is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certificant. He earned his Bachelor’s in Finance from James Madison University, a Master’s of Science in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University, and a Master’s of Science in Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
