When you’re ready to receive your retirement income, call GuideStone® at 1-888-98-GUIDE (1-888-984-8433) to speak with a customer solutions specialist who will discuss your retirement withdrawal strategy, explain your income options and provide the necessary steps for you to begin regularly receiving your savings. You can also begin this process through your MyGuideStone® account.
Receive Required Minimum Distributions (RMD)
If you are retired and age 73, the IRS mandates you to take required minimum distributions (RMDs) from your retirement accounts like your 403(b) or 401(k) plans. You can either request this ahead of time, or GuideStone will automatically send it to you. (You must take RMDs from your Traditional IRA at this point even if you’re still working.)
